The Multivac MU2809 is a 16-channel EtherCAT digital output terminal designed for reliable control of industrial devices and automation systems. It provides sixteen 24 V DC digital outputs with a switching capacity of up to 0.5 A per channel and supports resistive, inductive and lamp loads. Featuring short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection and 500 V electrical isolation between the E-Bus and field potential, it ensures dependable operation in demanding environments. With fast switching times, compact DIN rail installation and approvals including CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx, the MU2809 is ideal for machine control, process automation and industrial I/O applications.
