The Beckhoff EL2904 is a TwinSAFE digital output terminal designed for safety-related control in EtherCAT automation systems. It provides four safe digital outputs with a switching current of up to 0.5 A per channel and supports Safety over EtherCAT communication for high-integrity safety applications. Certified to SIL 3 and Performance Level e (PL e), it is suitable for controlling safety devices, contactors and machine safety functions. Featuring compact DIN rail installation, IP20 protection and approvals including CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx, the EL2904 delivers reliable performance in industrial automation and hazardous area environments.
