The Multivac MU1809 is a 16-channel EtherCAT digital input terminal designed for reliable signal acquisition in industrial automation systems. It supports 24 V DC digital inputs in accordance with EN 61131-2 Type 1/3 specifications and features a 3 ms input filter, making it ideal for slower switching signals and stable process monitoring. Powered via the EtherCAT E?Bus, it provides 500 V electrical isolation between the E-Bus and field potential for enhanced reliability. With direct plug-in wiring technology, IP20 protection and approvals including CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx, the MU1809 is suitable for machine control, process automation and industrial I/O applications.
